We are a plumbing contractor that tests backflow prevention assemblies on a regular basis.  We have a policy that if an assembly is one inch or smaller and it fails an annual test our service technician will probably recommend that you have the assembly replaced.  We carry replacement assemblies on our service truck, so you don’t have to wait for an order to come in.
